Exceptionally precise and built to take hard use, the 2D key machine brings new efficiency and profitability to key duplicating operations. It features a digital display and straight-in feed for accuracy to .0005" (one-half thousandth), delivering a true cut every time. No spacing blocks are required, and the 2D key machine is manufactured without small gears to strip or plastic parts to wear out.

Accuracy: Like all Framon key machines, the 2D key machine is hand assembled and hand fit. Before your machine reaches you, this key machine has originated keys accurate to one-half thousandth of an inch (.0005", about the thickness of a hair). This tolerance assures a perfect key every time.

Straight-in feed: Utilizing a straight-in feed approach, the 2D key machine provides a perpendicular cut at the root of the key. The flat of the cut will always be the same depth from the left side of the cut to the right. Machines that use a pivot approach can produce keys that turn one way but not the other. Different shear lines from the left to the right side of the key lead to the turning problem.
